I recently went to an office where I spotted a sign that read “Employees First”. When I asked why the business did not have a sign that read “Customers First”, the manager told me that if he put his employees first, they put the customer first! It makes sense. During the upcoming week, you have a chance to let your co-workers or staff know they are important. Just like a family, people in the same business environment show concern and care for each other. Through the Texas A&M Workplace Study there is scientific evidence that plants and flowers in the office will help people become happier, more creative and more productive. When you are considering the idea of putting “Employees First”, consider the environment and add plants! Email us for more information on plants in your workplace.
